Three McKinstry brothers and a sister came from Belfast, (?) Ireland in 1851. Another sister stayed in Ireland. William (above) Andrew, John, Rose came to America. William McKinstry
William McKinstry was born in Dublin Ireland about 1828. This piece
of information is a little shakey. He married Agnes Smith in Ireland. My source says "She had one daughter, Sara Burke". I am assuming that means she had Sara before she married William. On the boat coming to America were born to William and Agnes: David and Andrew (twins). In America was born: Willie John (died of rabies at age 5) Agnes died and William McKinstry married Honora Hunter (Honora Quinn, above). She had one child, Mattie Hunter when they married. Honora came from Ireland, I don't know what year. She married Samuel
Hunter in Conneticut in 1857. They moved to Tennessee then to Illinois.
