We followed a trail that led along the upper edges of some canyons, including Aurora Canyon and Sac Canyon.
Sometimes the path was wide, but over at the edge you had to be careful.
Sometimes a fence protected walkers from getting near the edge.
Trees grew wherever they could, including on the sides of cliffs.
On all the hikes we saw lots of fallen trees and logs.
The right picture shows one of the few wet spots we saw.
In the spring there are floods and waterfalls, but we were there in September.
The views of the canyons were spectacular but hard to catch with a camera.
