Where I worked

 

The building where I worked was in Opelika, an
adjoining town, but the street was in Auburn.
These interesting bushes were in the parking lot, and the red trees were just down the street.

It was near a small airport, and this runway was visible out the back of the building.
We didn't see any planes, though.

Auburn University

I drove through the campus of Auburn University, which has had several names through its long history.

Besides football, they are very big on
agriculture, as these pictures show.

University Colonial Mall

One evening I visited this mall.  I got some exercise and did a little impulse shopping.

The mall was recently renovated and
offered elegant seating areas.

It was also decorated for Christmas.

Memphis Airport

On the trip I changed planes in
the Memphis airport, which
has a musical theme.

The logo imitates a musical note,
and all the artwork depicts
musicians and instruments.
