Peanut Capital
of the World

Dothan is in the far southeast
corner of Alabama and
is known as the peanut
capital of the world.

The Dothan Visitors' Center
had flowers blooming in December
and also a giant gold peanut.

Several decorated peanuts
were around the town.

Historic Murals

Murals were painted on the sides of several downtown buildings.

 

 

Other Sights around Town

The Dothan Opera House was a
historic looking building.

I saw several churches and also
this sign for Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

The family doesn't look like
Amy, Keith, and Lydia, though.
