Madison County Nature Trail
on Green Mountain

I drove way up the mountain to get there, but it was very nice.

This "fishing pond" was in the middle of the parking area.

The first thing I came to was a waterfall.

The trail went on around the lake and also through the woods.

The path led through a covered bridge.

This cabin was occupied by the Green family, for whom the mountain is named.

You can see at the left that everything was hilly.
And here are some more of the trees.

There were mostly trees and underbrush, but I saw a few flowers.
